IF any of you have been following my post lately i think i am going to sell one of my Z's to finance redoing the motor in my other. I have about $10k to spend on the motor including assembly and removal/install. I want a lot of new parts for it but i know i can't afford them all. Here is the list of what i want. Eagle H beam rods JE stock size pistons ported and polished heads( this is a lot of money would i be beter of to save here an spend more on turbos? probably JWT #400 cams(how do these affect driveability?) heavy duty valve springs titanium retainers bronze valve seats ported/polished plenum,lower intake,and throtle bodies 555cc or 740cc injectors JWT sport 600 turbos. (May go with the HKS 2530 bb's if i don't get head work) Down pipes 2.5" catback exhaust JWT dual pop (already have) apexi afc (already have) apexi avcr (already have) HKS Intercoolers (already have) JWT ECU (already have stage III version) blitz BOV (already have) Lightend fly wheel I know i don't have enough money for all of this stuff. I know i could just bolt on the turbos and suporting mods and have most of the power. My car has 98k on it though and i don't know how long my motor will take the extra power. I want to have a bulletproof reliable car. Not one i will have to put a new motor in in 10k miles. So what could i do with out? Do I really need all the extra valve stuff like the retainers and valve guides? What abot porting and polishing the heads and intakes? How much can i expect to pay for the assembly of all of this?
